New training and digital products launched to support Shared Lives sector growth and quality

Shared Lives Plus has launched a new training and digital offer designed to strengthen, support and grow Shared Lives across the UK.

Bringing together a suite of online tools, eLearning and bespoke training, the offer provides flexible, accessible and high-quality training and support for the whole Shared Lives workforce, including Shared Lives carers, scheme staff, social workers and strategic leaders.

At its core, the offer is built around what makes Shared Lives unique: relationships, trust and personalised support. Every element has been carefully designed to reflect real practice, strengthen capability and make it easier for schemes to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.

    A smarter, more efficient and effective online matching tool to connect people drawing on Shared Lives with Shared Lives carers.

The offer has been shaped through extensive engagement with Shared Lives schemes and reflects the evolving needs of the sector, including opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen partnerships and support workforce development.

It is flexible, allowing local areas to choose the training and support required to strengthen their workforce, improve processes and grow their local offer.

Shared Lives Plus will continue to develop and expand the offer over time, ensuring it remains responsive to the sector and supports the continued growth of Shared Lives as a high-quality, community-based form of care and support.
