Shared Lives Plus is the UK membership charity for Shared Lives schemes, Shared Lives carers, and Homeshare organisations.
Shared Lives schemes, Shared Lives carers and Homeshare organisations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can choose to become members of Shared Lives Plus. Membership provides access to advice, training, resources, networking opportunities and national representation.
Shared Lives schemes are regulated services that recruit, train and support Shared Lives carers. They carefully match carers with people who need support and provide ongoing monitoring and guidance.
Shared Lives carers open their homes and lives to support adults with care or support needs. They provide long-term, short breaks and day support, helping people to live independently in their local communities.
