Shared Lives Plus exhibits at NCASC 2024
We’re excited to announce that Shared Lives Plus will exhibit at this year’s National Children and Adult Services Conference (NCASC), taking place in Liverpool at the ACC from November 27th to 29th.
This year, we join forces with Community Catalysts and the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi), under the collaborative initiative ‘Better, Now.’
Better, Now. serves as a call-to-action that reshapes the conversation around social care. By highlighting the transformative impact of community-based care models, we challenge commissioners and decision-makers to rethink their strategies in favour of strength-based, local solutions that improve lives.
“At Shared Lives Plus, we advocate for high-quality, person-centred care that focuses on the individual” says Ewan King, CEO of Shared Lives Plus. “Through our collaboration with NDTi and Community Catalysts as part of Better, Now. we showcase how investing in local care can build meaningful relationships, improve independence, and make efficient use of community resources.”
NCASC is one of the largest gatherings of professionals involved in social services, drawing over 1,000 delegates from the public, private, and voluntary sectors. The conference will also feature key speakers, including Stephen Kinnock, Minister of State for Care, who will deliver a keynote address.
