Shared Lives week across the UK
People are celebrating Shared Lives week and the #GoodLIfe up and down the country. Check out our list of events below to see what’s going on near you. This Shared Lives week there’s:
- A summer social in Birmingham
- a celebration of 30 years of Shared Lives in Blackpool at the Imperial Hotel, Thursday 11 June
- A tea party in Bedford, Saturday 15 June
- A day trip to Brighton for Greenwich Shared Lives carers also on Saturday 15 June
- A dementia-focused event in Wales Porth Eirias, Wales, Monday 17 June
- Kirklees Shared Lives kick off their summer tour of drop in sessions, pop along to find out more.
- A coffee morning with CVT Shared Lives on Tuesday 18 June at Eagle House, St. John’s road, Stourbridge.
- Disco in Worcester on Saturday 22 June
- Garden party and Bhangra dancing with awards presented by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Saturday 22 June.
- Aftertoon tea with Coventry Shared Lives
- Drop-in sessions explaining Shared Lives all through the week on the Isle of Wight
- Shared Lives South West CEO Dominic Spayne is running 200 miles and meeting Shared Lives families on the way! See if you can meet him en route or sponsor him!
