At Shared Lives Plus our vison is for a kinder, stronger society built on sharing our lives and our homes. We build communities where everyone lives a full life, regardless of the support they need.

Our members are 9,000 Shared Lives carers, 150 Shared Lives schemes, a growing network of over 25 local Homeshare organisations.

Whether you choose us as your Charity of the Year, help fund one of our programmes, or sponsor one of our events (like our conference or awards), we’re always grateful for your support.

Sponsorship Opportunities

You can align your business with Shared Lives Plus by sponsoring us. Help fund our carer helpline, peer support service, or ambassadors programme

  • A central advice team who provide support to carers across the UK. Shared Lives Plus helps our members to come together to develop the sector to survive and thrive, influencing local and national policy makers
  • Carer champions – The champions are all current Shared Lives carers, who share their home with vulnerable people. They will cover a dedicated phone support service for carers allowing a unique peer support programme. One-to-one support to Shared Lives carers is vital to maintain the integrity, quality, and safety of Shared Lives.
  • Ambassadors- one of our core principles is to ensure the voices of those with lived experiences is heard to co-design our services. Recruitment of Ambassadors, who are current or recent users of Shared Lives services will mean they can provide peer support, promote the service and be involved in the coproduction of local Shared Lives services.

Other ways for you to support us

Donating – We support people and their families all across the UK and show an alternative to traditional forms of care. We also support the carers who provide this fantastic service. Last year, we dealt with over 1000 calls to our carer helpline alone – but we rely on your donations to do this. Donations to charities are not taxed. If you work at a limited company, you could even pay less Corporation Tax when you donate to Shared Lives Plus.  You could also raise funds for us through collection boxes, charity of the year partnerships and payroll giving.

It’s even possible to fundraise for us from the comfort of your own browser! By registering with browser-based fundraising portals such as Give as you Live  and nominating Shared Lives Plus as your chosen charity, you can start earning fundraising rewards every time you shop online!
