The conversation brings together lived experience and learning from our Young People Leaving Care Programme. Gracie shares how finding Shared Lives gave her stability and a sense of belonging after being asked to leave home at 17. Rachel and Mary explore why planning early, listening to young people and protecting the relationships that matter can make such a difference as young people move into adulthood.
The episode also looks at homelessness, employment and transition planning, and why young people need more than services. They need trusted people, a place they can call home and relationships that last.
