Shared Lives blog features on DHSC website
Suzi Clark, our Head of Strategic Advice, has written a blog for the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) website.
She explains how Shared Lives is transforming social care by matching adults with learning disabilities or other care needs with carers who share their homes and lives. Suzi highlights the positive impact this has on creating connections and independence, and how funding from the Accelerating Reform Fund (ARF) is helping Shared Lives grow across the country.
She also talks about why raising awareness is so important to ensure even more people can benefit from this innovative way of providing care and support.
