Awards 2022: Gill Barratt wins Homeshare Champion award

Gill started Homesharing a few years ago, and in that time has had four homesharers live with her. She’s built long lasting relationships her homesharers, and to this day, homesharers come back to visit as friends.

Freya her homesharer said, “Gill is lovely company, whenever I’m studying I get to come downstairs and have a cup of tea with her and we have lovely chats”.

Gill is extremely sociable, which came across fantastically in their interview with BBC Radio 5 Live. That interview helped bring reassurance to the general public that Homeshare is safe and works well. Gill’s charisma and charm shone through which won the hearts of many.
