Next week from Monday 23rd June – Friday 27th June is Shared Lives week 2025 – our annual celebration of Shared Lives care across the UK. During the week, we shine a light on the incredible and life-changing impact of Shared Lives arrangements. As part of our celebrations we will be hosting three webinars to help you learn more about Shared Lives – please join us!
These two webinars are open for anyone to attend, whether you’re interested in working with us to grow your Shared Lives scheme, if you’re part of our membership, if you’re interested in becoming a Shared Lives carer, or simply because you want to find out more about Shared Lives – anyone is welcome.
The beginning: Establishing, growing, and diversifying Shared Lives
On Tuesday 24th June at 11am, our Strategic Advice team will be talking about how Shared Lives is established, and how it can grow and diversify. You can also find out more about your strategic advice support on offer, and how you can work with us.

Positive outcomes: Celebrating Shared Lives
On Thursday 26th June at 10am, our Comms team and our CEO Ewan King are hosting a celebration of positive outcomes from across the Shared Lives sector. We will be joined by Hope, Shared Lives ambassador and our ambassadors supporting the care leavers programme to discuss the very best parts of Shared Lives care.

If you are a member of Shared Lives Plus (either a carer member or scheme member) we are also hosting a membership specific webinar:
Up and running: ‘Behind the scenes’ with Shared Lives Plus’s Membership team
On Wednesday 5th June at 11am, our Membership team will be taking you ‘behind the scenes’, to see some of the less well known but essential parts of our work. From our recent successes with political advocacy, and our techniques for improving sector data, to our role as guardians of the Shared Lives model, we lift the curtain on what goes into supporting members.

We look forward to you joining us at one (or all!) of our webinars over Shared Lives week 2025.
