With just over one month to go, we’re so excited to hear your ideas and plans of what you’re doing around the UK to celebrate Shared Lives. Please send in your photos and stories for social media, our website and Sharing magazine to press@sharedlivesplus.org.uk.

Our Wales Development Team will be heading North for Shared Lives Week to Porth Eirias to celebrate Shared Living and Shared Lives carers. How will you be celebrating?  If you have some great stories to share, pictures, or a short film that can be used during our National Awareness Week, please let us know.  Depicting ‘What does a Shared Life mean to you?’  We can all share across our social media networks.  Let people know what wonderful things can happen when lives are shared. Carers – chat on your online community forum

The Shared Lives forum is now up and running – it’s your space to talk to other carers, be inspired, get your questions answered. It’s in your account pages and only open to carer members and our amazing carer support team – Lyn and Emma. To have a look around, log in with your email address, reset your password (it’ll go to your junk mail) and upload your details. Any questions, please email us!

Google group round up for schemes is now in your account pages

At the moment the website is only accessible to scheme managers (and carers!). We are uploading scheme workers, so soon everyone will be able to find the guidance and resources you need.
