Shared Lives ‘Updates’: new subscriber service now available to all Shared Lives carers

Shared Lives Plus has launched ‘Updates’, a new temporary subscriber service for all Shared Lives carers, aimed at supporting them through the Covid-19 pandemic. Please see below for more information and details on how to sign up.

We all need someone to lean on...

Here at Shared Lives Plus we believe in supporting all carers when they need it most. That’s why we’re launching Shared Lives Updates – a subscriber service that will help you access the latest information and advice on the ever-changing Covid-19 situation.

‘Updates’ is available to all Shared Lives carers who are not yet Shared Lives Plus members. It is a free, temporary (three month) service that offers the following support:

  • Daily email bulletins with all the latest advice and guidance relating to Covid-19
  • Access to the member dashboard on the Shared Lives Plus website and online carer community chat forum
  • Opportunity to submit questions and join Covid-19 carer webinars or calls, along with fellow carers, Shared Lives Plus staff and carer champions.

Head of membership Lynne Harrison is urging all Shared Lives carers to take advantage:

“We’re here for all Shared Lives carers during these incredibly challenging times. ‘Shared Lives updates’ offers access to daily emails and online information designed to help you in the ever-changing Covid-19 world.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to sample some of the benefits of Shared Lives Plus membership for a limited period. At times like this nobody should feel alone – join us and get the support you need.”

If you are not an existing Shared Lives Plus member and would like to sign up, just visit our registration page and select ‘Shared Lives Updates subscription’.

‘Updates’ will be available until the end of June. There is no cost to join, although please note you won’t be able to access member benefits such as legal advice and public liability insurance (although please do contact us if you are interested in this) or 1-1 support through our carer helpline and support team.
