2 Permanent Positions. 1 Full Time (35 hours) & 1 Part-Time (17.5 hours)

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small but expanding team. We are looking for two individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults to join the Islington Shared Lives service.

As a Shared Lives co-ordinator you will be responsible for recruiting, assessing, monitoring and supporting Shared Lives carers. You will also be responsible for managing new referrals to the service, assessing individuals who may wish to use the service and matching them with potential Shared Lives carers.

You will play a vital role in expanding Shared Lives in Islington by promoting the scheme and successfully increasing the number of Shared Lives carers and arrangements.

You will also be responsible for co-ordinating and managing a diverse caseload of Shared Lives carers, the individuals they support, their families, other professionals and a wide variety of stakeholders.
Whilst previous working in Shared Lives is not essential, knowledge of the service would be beneficial. The role will require flexibility and a significant amount of travel both within and outside of Islington.
